On 21 May 2026, the Global Youth Dialogue Among Civilizations Alliance (GYDCA) and the International Academic Organizations Alliance (IAOA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), setting up a long-term strategic partnership around international academic cooperation, youth dialogue among civilizations, innovation exchange and sustainable development.
The partnership creates a collaborative framework joining IAOA’s global academic networks to GYDCA’s international youth engagement platform. Working together, the two organisations will take on knowledge sharing, international conferences, youth leadership development, intercultural dialogue and global cooperation initiatives.
As set out in the agreement, GYDCA and IAOA will jointly contribute to:
- Strengthening international academic and youth cooperation
- Promoting dialogue among civilizations and intercultural understanding
- Supporting youth leadership and capacity-building initiatives
- Advancing international innovation and technology exchange
- Contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Expanding global networks for education, research and policy dialogue
The partnership will also back the co-organisation of international conferences, youth forums, innovation events, leadership programmes and cross-cultural exchange activities. Both organisations are committed to creating real openings for young people, scholars, innovators and future leaders to collaborate across borders and disciplines.
Looking ahead, GYDCA and IAOA will keep exploring new joint initiatives under a shared vision of peace, mutual understanding, innovation and sustainable development through international cooperation.
