30 June 2026 – UNESCO Headquarters, Paris
On 30 June 2026, GYDCA had the honour of welcoming a delegation of Chinese Hospital Presidents during their visit to UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. The visit opened up an important channel between Chinese institutional leaders and international youth representatives, and worked toward mutual understanding and cooperation across cultures.
Proceedings began with a roundtable discussion between the delegation and members of GYDCA’s international youth network. Participants traded views on global health challenges, youth leadership, international cooperation, healthcare innovation and the place of intercultural dialogue in tackling shared problems. The session showed what can come of putting experienced institutional leaders and young professionals in the same room to exchange perspectives and set up longer-term cooperation.
After the dialogue session, the delegation took a guided tour of UNESCO Headquarters, covering the organisation’s history, mission and contribution to international cooperation across education, science, culture and communication. The visit underlined UNESCO’s central role in advancing peace through dialogue among civilizations and international collaboration.
The event reflects GYDCA’s ongoing commitment to building platforms that connect youth, public institutions and international partners through substantive dialogue and shared learning. Facilitating exchanges between leaders from different sectors and cultural backgrounds is how GYDCA works toward stronger mutual trust, cultural understanding and international cooperation for sustainable development.
GYDCA extends its sincere appreciation to the members of the Chinese Hospital Presidents Delegation for taking part and for their contributions to the discussions, and thanks all youth representatives and partners whose involvement made the exchange a success.
Through activities of this kind, GYDCA continues to advance its mission of promoting dialogue among civilizations, empowering young leaders and building lasting bridges between cultures in support of peace, cooperation and human well-being.
