Global Youth Initiative

GYDCA is an international non-profit organization headquartered at UNESCO in Paris — building bridges across cultures and empowering young leaders to foster global peace and cooperation.

The Global Youth Dialogue Among Civilizations Alliance (GYDCA) was created to turn a growing international call for youth engagement, cultural diversity, and intercultural understanding into a permanent, youth-led platform for action.
GYDCA emerged from a global recognition of two closely connected priorities: giving young people a meaningful role in addressing global challenges, and strengthening dialogue and mutual understanding across cultures and civilizations. Operating within this context, GYDCA serves as a platform designed for youth to shape partnerships and translate ideas into impact.
Allow youth voices to be heard and promote intercultural dialogue among civilizations to foster global unity.
Creating open and inclusive environments where young leaders have the agency and resources to shape their own future.
We focus on real project co-creation, helping youth turn brainstorm ideas into reality through active resource mobilization.

Sharing common values and working in cooperation with UNESCO, other networks and relevant partners, GYDCA seeks to foster intercultural dialogue, promote peace, and strengthen mutual understanding among the youth.
We believe that young people are powerful agents of change, capable of building bridges across cultures and contributing to a more inclusive and peaceful world.
Our vision is a global community where young people, regardless of their origins or background, engage in dialogue, mutual respect, and work together to shape a better future.
“Beyond creating dialogue platforms, we try to mobilize all available resources — expertise, networks, connections, spaces, and visibility — to empower young people to turn brainstorming into concrete, active projects.”
